Party FAQ’s 

How many people can I bring to make chocolate?

We have an 8-person minimum and a 30-40 person maximum for on-site parties. Offsite parties are also available and require a $750 total pre-tax bill minimum.

How old do you have to be to reserve a party?

We have hosted chocolate-making parties for ages 4-92. However, ages under 6 typically require more hands-on assistance.

Can I bring my own wine/beer or non-alcoholic beverage to the party?

No, we carry alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase in-store. Fruit or cheese trays with minimal aromas may be brought onsite.

Can I bring birthday presents to open onsite?

Of course, and as long as time allows! Just let us know prior to the party if you’d like time to do this so we can accommodate. Don’t forget the camera!

How can I reserve a chocolate-making party?

Reservations can be made in store, via phone, or online. A non-refundable deposit is required and will go towards your chocolate-making session. A one time date or time change can be made up to 1 one week prior to your event, based on availability.

What is included with my package?

Each package has different details, but all include a demonstration, lesson, chocolate samples, and up to 1/2 pound of chocolate to make and take home!

How long should I expect my party to last?

Typically, a party of 10 people or less will last approximately an hour. Parties greater than 10 may last 1.5-2 hours. The addition of cake, business meetings, opening of gifts or enjoying other food/drink will lengthen time. Please let us know if you have a special circumstance that may affect normal party times.

Can I still make chocolate if I have a dairy and/or nut allergy?

Although we are not a certified dairy, gluten or nut-free facility, we have had many guests with these sensitivities enjoy making chocolate. Please inform us of any allergies prior to your party. You should rely on your best judgement when considering dietary restrictions.

Should I bring decorations?

Any themed decorations can be brought onsite, however most people prefer to enjoy the store decor as it is. Balloons are always a nice addition to any party.

Can 2 people share 1 party package?

No, each package is priced for each individual participant to taste samples, make chocolate, and participate in the lesson.

Do you give group discounts?

Each package is reasonably priced based on the products and services provided. We wish to remain consistent by offering the same pricing to everyone.

What chocolate can I eat during the party?

Various samples are provided during the party, and you will make plenty to take home. We ask that you refrain from snacking on toppings or eating chocolate from the funnels. Additional chocolate can always be purchased from our retail area at any time.

Can I still make chocolate if I am gluten-intolerant?

Yes, chocolate is naturally gluten-free and although we are not a certified gluten-free facility, many gluten-intolerant customers enjoy our chocolates that do not contain cookies, pretzels, rice, etc.

Am I limited to 1/2 pound of chocolate?

Of course not! Each individual package includes up to a generous 1/2 pound of chocolate. All chocolate will be weighed and packaged for the trip home. You are welcome to make more which will be billed at only $9.99/Ib thereafter. Most people use between 1-2 chocolate molds. We try our best to estimate amounts made but there is no exact science, so it will be weighted after.

How should I pay?

All forms of payment are accepted and party packages can be paid individually or as one bill. Sales tax is added to all purchases along with an 18% gratuity. The previously paid deposit will be subtracted from your bill.
